I just wanted to drop a song expressing Black Boy Joy during these difficult times in our country right now. There’s more music I plan to release soon. Until then, dance (safely) in your homes. This song is available on […]

I’ve been quiet with new material this year. I have good reasons for that, but for now, check out this freestyle to hold you over. The beat is produced by Nottz. Let’s do it.

Let me explain the story about this record. My first show I ever did was opening for Masta Ace. I was excited to do it, even stole my mother’s car to drive to Baltimore to do it. Years later, I came up with the idea to do a song about overcoming obstacles and struggles that anyone can relate to, and not just me. I felt like putting Ace on the song because it marked a time in my life where I felt like I could do anything that I wanted. I know who I am and what I can do. When you live in your truth, you’re never wrong; you’re always right. While recording this song, the COVID-19 pandemic was happening, and some things happened. Nevertheless, we got it done and I think it’s pretty dope. Check it out for yourself.
This song is also available on iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, & more!

Shouts to DJ Little Bacon Bear for the love. Nothing better than looks in your hometown. Having music featured in an Emmy nominated series is dope, but the radio love at home is always good to me.
If you’re in the Los Angeles area, make sure to check out Pop Fuzion TV every Monday at 8:30am and 11:30pm. Here’s a clip with the information, as well as the spot for the “Red Carpet” video.
Recently I met the very talented brother James Bland. He’s the creator, writer, and star of a TV series called “Giants“. It’s a coming-of-age story about three individuals living in Los Angeles and navigating through internal struggles and financial distress. It’s produced by Bland & CJ Faison as well as executive produced by Issa Rae and Jussie Smollett. My record “Say Hi” (which you can find on my album Exxxactly) was featured on Episode 204: Lights Out. Expect to hear more about this show since it’s been announced that James Bland & his co-host Vanessa Baden Kelly have been nominated for a Digital Daytime Emmy.
Be sure to watch both seasons of this web series on Issa Rae’s channel here, and check out the clip featuring “Say Hi” below. Isn’t it dope that the scene actually fits with the concept of the song??? Dopeness.
