NEWS: QSJ Radio’s 15 Minute Redhead Set (Video)

I came across the work of QSJ Radio and sent them one song to play on their show. That one song made this DJ from New Jersey to search for more songs and include video to play. Kind of amazing how I could make this total stranger bring the energy like this.

It costs $8 and my 30 min set is at 10pm sharp, so be smart about it and come on time!

Also, if you’re down with the JamCamp Festival, it will be moved to June 5th to 7th. Be sure to check out more details at their website.

It’s been often delayed but so far, the music is getting strong. I came to the show to premier new music, including an unfinished song I recorded the night before.

Here’s some pictures from my time there. Much love to my folks King Kan, Uncle Smacks, Jermaine Montana, and AyeYoSmiley who were also in the studio.

NEW MUSIC: The FarEXP (feat. Redhead) – The Expansion (Album)

Before I post this album, I have to briefly explain its context. Back in 2012 after the release of my mixtape The Schemata, I was approached to join a hiphop group called The FarEXP. I accepted the offer based on the inclusion of two members whom I’ve known for many years, even though I wasn’t aware of the music nor how they operate. After several recording sessions coupled with endless amount of fights & bickering, I quit the group on my own accord at the top of 2014 and decided to let them do what they wanted to do for the sake of the album. If you’re a fan of underground boom-bap rap music reminiscent of Slum Village & Souls of Mischief, you can take a listen. Production on this album is from UnOwn, Kev Brown, & Oddisee.
