This project features several DC metropolitan artists, including yours truly with a new track from Exxxactly called “Hennessy & Soda”. Enjoy!

NEW MUSIC: Redhead – The Glow

After sharing the stage with Gillie Da Kid in Philly and being on the Art All Night stage at Carnegie Library with Deuce & Oeaux during CBC Weekend, I’ve decided to drop something new from the Exxxactly EP for the Internet.

This song is called The Glow and it’s produced by a good friend Malik Hunter. He’s the bass player for the funk/soul band Nat Turner and is currently on tour with Aaron Abernathy.

Be sure to catch me in Brooklyn, NY this weekend at The Paper Box with Nitty Scott, Dice Raw, & Akrobatik! Tix are available on the Events page.

NEW MUSIC: Redhead – The B-Side Interlude

Just a small test preview of something that I’m making for the Exxxactly project. So far the process has been pretty fly, but I always like to experiment with sounds and structures. I’ll probably revise this at some point, but check this out and let me know what you think!

NEW MUSIC: The Delegation – Daltz 2 feat. Paperboy, Ardamus, Brain Rapp, Redhead, & Omega

As promised, my peoples put out their newest mixtape called House Party this week. This is the track that I’m featured on which I must say has a really dope verse by myself. We had a good time doing this song. The video should be out pretty soon for this one as well. Definitely get into this before then.

The lineup goes as follows:

1. Paperboy
2. Ardamus
3. Brain Rapp
4. Redhead
5. Juda (of The Delegation)
6. Omega

P.S.: Shouts to Listen Vision Studios for once again supporting my music and to University of Maryland College Park for supporting “Too Much” on their FM radio station.

NEW MUSIC: Redhead – Am I Thirsty? Pt. 1

This is a particular song that I’ve done while working on my Exxxactly project. It’s come to my attention through several conversations with friends and family that a lot of relationships are being started in social media outlets these days. This is all fine and everything, but most times, you would have to be careful in how you approach someone because you can easily be labeled as overzealous or “thirsty”. In this Panama Jackson produced song that I decided to drop in light of Valentine’s Day approaching, I decided to hit on this topic a bit. Part 2 of this song is on my project where it gets a little bit more indepth and bizarre. Enjoy this and spread to your peoples!!

NEW MUSIC: Redhead Previews New Single “Too Much”

I’m dropping this new single around Thanksgiving of 2013. It’s called Too Much and is produced by TDeezy who I’ve previously worked with on a couple of tracks. My EP project Exxxactly is almost done and I’m totally excited about it. For the last few months, I’ve spent most of the time trying to find inspiration and living my life to gain a better perspective as an artist and a person in order to write my records with a more grounded sense of reality. This is a 15-second snippet of the record; the concept of the song is that a lot of times, when you do something great in your life and you tell your friends about it, there would be people that are genuinely happy for you. However, there are times when those “friends” interpret it in the wrong way. Either it would be jealousy, supposed “thirstiness”, or lack of ambition. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t want to be around negativity, you would like to separate yourself from the drama and keep building your potential to reach the goals you want to attain. You’ll still love your friends and will have no problem kicking with them, but if there’s time wasted and goals to be made, you can’t have anyone dragging you down. That’s why you’re “too much” for these people.

NEW MUSIC: Redhead – “Furlough Bars”

Dropped a new song during the sequester to prepare for the upcoming project Exxxactly. Enjoy and spread to your friends and family. It’s a creative writing piece, so to speak.

New Music: “Kickback (PreGame)”

Here’s a new track by Redhead for your enjoyment. Maybe you’ll see a video for this one, probably not. I made this song after working with a new producer who also happens to have produced tracks for artists such as Smoke DZA and Trinidad James. Here’s one of the records I worked on:
