NEW MUSIC: Redhead – The B-Side Interlude

Just a small test preview of something that I’m making for the Exxxactly project. So far the process has been pretty fly, but I always like to experiment with sounds and structures. I’ll probably revise this at some point, but check this out and let me know what you think!

NEWS: Redhead Appears on @PodInFull Podcast Show

Recently I’ve gotten introduced to another podcast show that I’ve subscribed to on iTunes called Pod In Full. It’s a show that is hosted by 3 jaded fans of hiphop from the DMV area by the names of AJ Milla, Esco, & Clyde Jones. On this particular episode, my friend Budoo makes an appearance to talk about the 10th anniversary of Kanye West’s debut album The College Dropout. He calls me up around 1:12:35 into the show as they’re wrapping up and we talk about a couple jabs at a certain rapper and my experience in meeting Mr. West himself in 2003. Shouts to the brothers of this show and PLEASE subscribe to the show to keep them running. They’re very entertaining and I look forward in being on this show again.

NEW MUSIC: Trap Rappers Are Stupid (Verse)

I got asked to do a song with my really good friends Da Cov. I’ve known these guys for years and they make hiphop tracks for fun and I ALWAYS wanted to be included in these. Years later, I received a text from the homie Jason to get down for one. I consider this verse as just payback for all the times I’ve been denied, as well as my growing disdain for all these new rappers coming out that wanna ‘turn up’ so damn much and have no finesse in writing lyrics. Well, guess I gotta show them right? Cool. Whatever.

Also much love to 368 Music Group and Melisa Kim for allowing me the opportunity to showcase this material.

NEWS: Redhead interviews on The In Deep Show

Over the weekend, I got the chance to interview with a fresh new podcast show called The In Deep Show. They have a segment on the show called Thee Un where they feature undiscovered musicians and showcase their work and talents. I was out in downtown Washington, D.C. to support my friend King Kan’s event, so we did the interview via Skype live on the street amongst homeless people and drunken pedestrians. That’s the life I chose!

Check out this interview where I play some music and talk about my background with Drew & Brian. Shoutout to Esther who sealed the deal!
